John Kincheloe was born around 1700 in North Farnham Parish, Richmond County, Virginia. John married a woman named Elizabeth; it has been stated that her name was Elizabeth Canterbury, a descendant of English Royalty; there is some dispute over her last name. Cornelius, John's father, sailed from Ireland to Virginia shortly after the fall of Charles I by Oliver Cromwell. Cornelius may have departed Ireland on account of political and religious difficulties caused by the fall of Charles I.

John was born around 1700 in North Farnham Parish, Richmond County, Virginia. He settled in Virginia sometime prior to 1729. He died in Hamilton Parish, Prince William County, Virginia, in latter March of 1746. His will was probated in 1749.

John and Elizabeth Kincheloe were blessed with nine children, as far as I can estimate:
